Evidence - eliminated

So the evidence in what could have damned someone high-up is gone.

I wonder if that's good or bad. Meher Bhargava, was after all the wife of a Congress politician. Not an ordinary woman.

I wonder if that's got Shayan Munshi thinking. After all, Manu Sharma is the son of a Haryana Congress minister.

Robbing people to pay all...

Our Commie FM is finally showing his true colours. The Finance Ministry is reviewing IT exemptions to decide which ones will go. To its credit, it has invited comments and feedback (opens Windows Word document) from the general public by July 5, but the underlying issue is this:

Not satisfied with stuffing their pockets with money in devious ways (such as depending on Mother Nature to cause disasters, or rehabilitating people affected by building dams), our worthless ruling class is now going to "widen the tax base" in order to collect more funds that will also deviously not be accounted for.

It's about time we started taxing Z++ security, governmental residences, free train and plane rides and fuel for vehicles. Now, who's going to bell the cat?

NDTV: Shayan Munshi arrest

And what is Shayan going to claim this time around?

That he's not yet learned Hindi and therefore couldn't understand the court's order prohibiting him from leaving the country?

Or that he has learned Hindi, thank you, but the court orders were in English -- which he now completely doesn't understand?

Or that he flunked Geography in school and thought Bangkok was actually in Assam?

Whichever way you look at it -- guys like this are absolute losers. How can Peeya Rai Chowdhary ever accept the ignominy of being called his wife?

NDTV: Juvenile delinquent drama in Gurgaon

Now? Only now? What's made Gurgaon residents suddenly sit up and take notice of a feckless delinquent?

And why should they be bothered NOW? I'm sure there have been previous cases of rich daddy's spoilt kids going wild, but what's made these guys actually protest?

I've been increasingly in favour of a 'zero tolerance' attitude - especially in cases like this, that involve public safety while driving. All errant drivers should just be incapacitated - permanently - from ever driving again. Forget about challans and court cases.

Just pull the driver from the car, shoot him through one - preferably both - kneecaps - or elbows if so needed - and let him go. And the recepients of that action should include the police.
